January 2015 saw an epic Poker weekend unfold at King’s. During the European Poker Sport Championship (EPSC) Main Event, an incredible record of 2.775 entries was established in Europe’s biggest Poker room. With a buy in of €175, a totally insane €408.619 came together in the tourney’s prize pool awarding Austrian Poker legend, Harry Casagrande, the EPSC Bracelet and a mind-bending €48.842 for an unprecedented return on investment.
For the third EPSC, the dates are set to 11th-15th January 2017 and the guarantee put in place is €200k for another €175 Main Event and numerous Side Events starting from €60 as well as Live Satellites guaranteeing 40 tickets.
The EPSC is a Poker Bundesliga project in collaboration with MSM Sport Marketing and King’s Rozvadov. Since 2006, Tassilo Wik is leading this project that came to be one of Germany’s top non-cash prizes Poker tournament promoter with weekly qualifiers awarding seats and journeys to the EPSC at King’s.
MSM Sport Marketing is lead by Dr. Klaus Dietze and is a Poker Bundesliga licencee. They regularly put on Poker tourneys in Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt and Thüringen. What is more, Dr. Dietze is also the main manager of the Deutsche Bracelet Meisterschaft (German Bracelet Championship) in Leipzig, one the biggest non-cash reward Poker tourneys in Germany with about 1.000 participants every year.
